Planning well under way for new Brighton venue

Things are really starting to get moving now, since Pasha on West Street in Brighton closed its doors for the last time just over a week ago.
With big plans for the new nightspot taking its place (name yet to be revealed), Penguin Media Solutions will be providing the technical infrastructure, the audio, the lighting and the visuals to make the most of the space and will also be adding a few little touches of our own!

PLASA Focus is the leading event to showcase audio, video and lighting technology in the North of England.
The show gives you the chance to check out products never before seen in the UK as the industry’s leading manufacturers choose the event to launch their latest wares.

462 inches of flat screen goodness hits Brighton sports pub

Another busy week last week, fitting 462 inches of screens to the already visually well equipped King & Queen pub in Brighton.
10 x 43″ Samsung units and one 32″ unit were fitted to replace the ageing CRT monitors and to bring the visual display equipment bang up to date and reinforcing the venue’s claim to being the biggest and best sports pub in Brighton.
Hardware was supplied by Unicol, as ever the superb product did exactly what it said in the brochure, the King & Queen even taking advantage of the outdoor enclosures Unicol offer for one of their screens, to compliment their pair of large projector screens hung in the main room. All specification, supply and installation was completed by Penguin Media Solutions.

Digitalism loving touring with the iLive from Allen & Heath

Popular German electro house duo, Digitalism, has been touring the globe this year carrying an Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing system to manage FOH and monitors.
