Talk 8 is a digital paging station designed to provide crystal-clear, flexible communication for multi-zoned commercial audio systems. It offers everything required to ensure precise, reliable paging across zones, making it an essential part of an efficient, high-quality commercial sound system.
Talk 8 allows the user to independently page individual zones or multiple zones simultaneously, with the ability to define and select zone groups for customised communication. WebApp enables simplistic configuration of scheduling of message routines and control of paging priorities to suit any venue’s unique requirements.
The paging station features a backlit TALK button with latching and non-latching options, an optional pre-announcement chime, and six instant message replay buttons for swift playback. Through WebApp, any content stored on the available 4GB of memory can be assigned to playback buttons or scheduled for automatic playback as part of a time-of-day routine.
Talk 8 integrates effortlessly with the Optimal Audio eco-system, including support for up to two digital paging stations working in tandem with Zone controllers.
Talk 8 has a robust, weighted design with standardised mounting options for simple integration with a variety of mounts and brackets. Power is delivered via a locking RJ45 connector from the Zone controller paging port, and USB-C connectivity is included for firmware updates and loading audio files.
Supplied with a secure-fitting dynamic gooseneck microphone, Mic 1, Talk 8 guarantees professional audio delivery and seamless operation within any commercial venue. When combined with other products in the Optimal Audio range, Talk 8 provides a simple, intuitive, and future-proofed paging solution.
