Creative and technical design, supply, installation, programming and ongoing support – for audio, lighting control and environment control.

In the vibrant city of Brighton, a new chapter unfolds as the iconic music club, The Haunt, gives way to the emergence of Chalk, a dynamic and independent venue nestled in a former cinema with a spacious multi-level interior. Under the expertise of Penguin Media Solutions, the venue is transformed into a captivating space with a state-of-the-art lighting system, casting a spell of versatility and creativity. Three truss structures, strategically positioned, host fixtures, allowing visiting lighting designers to craft an array of captivating atmospheres. As the lights dance in harmony, the sound system, meticulously designed by Martin Audio, envelops the venue, providing an audio tapestry for both club enthusiasts and live music aficionados. Chalk, with its unique identity, embodies the successful synergy of sound and light, marking a new era in Brighton's nightlife.

Cool bar and listening room, speakers were designed as one oƯs by us to suit the mid century style of the room in American cherrywood, inspired by the Klipsch LaScala but with modern capabilities.

In the bustling town of High Wycombe, Rush UK introduces a thrilling trampoline park experience, adorned with a substantial Martin Audio CDD (Coaxial Differential Dispersion) installation loudspeaker system, recommended by AV integrators, Penguin Media Solutions. The venue's expansive industrial unit is now infused with an immersive soundscape, thanks to the CDD12 system strategically placed throughout the main area. Penguin Media Solutions, with their keen insight, seamlessly integrated the system to ensure a dynamic audio backdrop for various activities, from basketball to climbing challenges. Complementing the exhilarating atmosphere, an expertly designed lighting scheme, curated by Penguin Media Solutions, bathes the trampoline park in vibrant hues during Rush After Dark nights, creating a visually captivating experience to match the energetic ambiance.

Cargo, the University of Kent's latest addition, is a versatile student bar, bistro, and live venue that reflects meticulous planning overseen by Keith Williams. Brighton-based integrator Penguin Media Solutions collaborated with Ohm to deliver a tailored solution for the sound system. The successful integration, which included an intuitive iPad control and a flexible video setup, left Keith impressed with Penguin Media's exceptional delivery, bringing Cargo to life with crystal-clear sound for an immersive experience.

When Matthew Dimmack and Cleto Capetta acquired the former Lola-Lo club in Brighton, reimagining it as the Bau Wow Club, they enlisted the expertise of Penguin Media Solutions. Having established a successful relationship through previous collaborations, the integrators won the project with their meticulous attention to detail and a live demonstration of the proposed Martin Audio system. The 170-capacity club, located in the basement, needed a versatile sound system for live shows and club nights. Penguin Media Solutions implemented strategic measures to prevent sound bleed to the venue upstairs. The main room now features a powerful and dynamic system suitable for both live bands and DJs. Cleto Capetta praises the Martin Audio sound system for delivering unmatched power and clarity, allowing Bau Wow to stand out on the South Coast.

Situated in Winchmore Hill, Buckle and Vaughan, a spacious bar and dining space, sought to enhance its atmosphere by upgrading its sound system through Penguin Media Solutions. Opting for the Martin Audio CDD6 solution, the installation included 10 units with powerful 6.5-inch drivers in white, seamlessly integrating with the venue's bright décor. The straightforward setup, featuring a discreetly placed Blackline X210 subwoofer, improved acoustics without disrupting operations. General Manager Ricardo Almeida expressed satisfaction with the decision, noting a significant enhancement in sound quality at Buckle and Vaughan.

Designed by the award-winning Zaha Hadid Architects, the Roca London Gallery is an innovative space where Roca product display environments live harmoniously alongside a series of cultural exhibitions and events on a variety of themes such as architecture, design and sustainability. While the building itself is undoubtably strikingly beautiful, it hides a myriad of technology including Helvar lighting control, a comprehensive audio system, screens and projection systems with content management on Watchout servers, all tied together with a Creston control system programmed and maintained by Penguin Media Solutions. 

The University of Kent's K-Bar recently underwent a major redesign, including a new juice and smoothie bar and an end-to-end Martin Audio CDD loudspeaker system installed by Penguin Media Solutions. Dylan Thompson, Project Manager, highlights the versatility and cost-effectiveness of the CDD system, which caters to the multipurpose nature of the facility—serving as a sports bar during the day and transforming into a live music venue on weekends. The system, operating under a Crestron processor, seamlessly manages audio and video zoning, providing unobtrusive yet powerful sound reinforcement. The consistency of sound and discreet design of the CDD speakers have significantly improved the overall auditory and visual experience within the bar, meeting the requirements set by Kent Hospitality.

Production infrastructure includes the mechanical and electrical backbone that the production / specialist event power, audio, video, lighting and data sits on. A true multi-purpose venue, now home to Flippers World Roller Boogie Palace, we also provided extra fibre optic backbone for their new immersive LED video screens and pixel lighting.

This venue hosts automotive launches, corporate events, exhibitions, live artist and DJ led electronic music events, all using the same robust backbone we designed and implemented.

A Broadwick Live venue, voted second best nightclub in the World. We provided design services for the colossal 12 metre LED video screen processing infrastructure that is the focal point of the main room.

One of the world’s leading video-led AV suppliers for live shows, exhibitions and corporate events, they called on Penguin Media Solutions to provide a Martin Audio sound system, CYP video control matrix, Crestron lighting control and Crestron drag and drop control system to tie all of their technology together. All operated by an Apple iPad, with a custom app developed in-house by us, the showroom has multiple modular LED video screens of various resolutions, that are auditioned by dragging and dropping icons on the app – intuitive UI design, no training required – the system automatically selects diƯerent speakers and lighting preset recalls in the room to suit. As well as triggering video clips from a local video server. Also features local I/O provision for special events and one-off demonstrations.
