The Optimal Audio WebApp is a powerful web-based platform for controlling and configuring Optimal Audio Zone series controllers, acting as the central hub of your multi-zone sound system. It allows you to independently adjust volume levels, select audio sources, and manage presets across multiple zones with ease. Designed for flexibility and convenience, the WebApp also provides access to advanced settings such as EQ adjustments, microphone mixing, and scheduling automated routines, while offering real-time system monitoring to ensure reliable, high-quality performance across your entire installation.
Description
Compatible with any device, WebApp is the ‘secret sauce’ that unlocks the technology and capability behind the Zone Series for the system installer, while presenting the end user with an intuitive and simple interface to control the sound system.
Hosted by the Zone Series, there’s no installation required for WebApp – just open a browser on a smartphone, tablet or laptop connected to the same network, enter the address and you’re in.
For the integrator, WebApp provides a visualisation of the entire system and complete configuration can be achieved for refined sound in every room. Additional features include ducking, limiters, metering, microphone volume, advanced signal routing, bridge mode for low impedance and 70V high impedance speakers, programmable presets, timed events and daily reset routines, returning the system to its original configured set up.
WebApp also allows for the system configuration files within Zone Series to be saved and easily replicated across multi-site installations.
WebApp Desktop Demo continues this flexibility by enabling system designers and integrators to open system configuration files on PC or Mac, without the need to be physically connected to a Zone unit.
Once the system is configured, installers can lock down settings with a PIN, and provide the venue staff with a simple user interface.
Traditionally, the control and operation of commercial sound systems has been a complicated inconvenience to many venue staff, who just want the system to work. WebApp, on the other hand, provides slick touchscreen-optimised controls enabling staff to easily operate the system and focus on the job in hand.
The digital basis of the system also enables additional features and flexibility to be added over time as WebApp is enhanced year to year. That’s future proofing without the time travelling and a way for installers to add value to their aftersales offering.
If it is preferable for venue staff to utilise a dedicated controller rather than the Webapp interface on a device, ZonePad wall controllers are the perfect companion. Alternatively, WebApp also supports third party controllers via OSC over Ethernet.
