The Lightware 25G‑LAYER‑IR‑160 is a high-performance infrared (IR) extension and control module designed for integration into advanced AV signal-layer environments. Positioned as part of Lightware’s LAYER family, this IR engine enables long-range remote control of displays, projectors, and media devices over Cat or fiber infrastructure while preserving centralized control.
With robust IR emitter and receiver capabilities, the IR‑160 module supports both forward (TX) and return (RX) IR paths, offering full duplex remote command transmission.
