With the USB KVM option, users can utilize the 25G Hybrid signal management for KVM matrix purposes. Up to 160 computers can be controlled by up to 160 operators. 25G allows point to point control. This method allows multiple operators to control one single computer or one operator to control multiple computers.
Description
The Lightware 25G-LAYER-USB-KVM-80 is a USB KVM Layer card designed for use within the Lightware 25G Hybrid matrix system. This module enables point-to-point USB and KVM extension, supporting up to 2 USB HID devices per 25G I/O port. It offers seamless switching and control of peripheral devices such as keyboards, mice, and smart card readers over a unified AV infrastructure.
Ideal for command centres, meeting rooms, and collaborative environments, the USB-KVM-80 allows USB HUBs to be connected to matrix outputs, giving users flexibility to manage connected devices across multiple endpoints. This makes it possible for one user to control multiple computers—or for multiple users to access and control a single machine—over the 25G system.
