MX‑HDMI‑OPT‑IB offers an extremely long, 2500m extension range over a single Multimode fiber for HDMI, DVI, VGA signals on eight channels supporting 4K resolution and 3D formats.
Description
MX-HDMI-OPT-IB is an eight-channel fiber optical extension board for HDMI and DVI signals, extending to a range of 2600 m over a single fiber cable. The internal fiber to HDMI conversion adds no latency or frame delay and uses no video compression.

- 1920x1080@120Hz/4:4:4, 4096x2160@30Hz/4:4:4 or 60Hz/4:2:0 maximum resolutions (300MHz)
- Status LEDs (fiber link, signal and HDCP detect)
- Extension distance up to 2500 meters (with OM3 fiber, 1920x1080p60)
- Cross compatible with OPT series Lightware fiber extenders and I/O boards
- HDMI 1.4, HDCP 1.4 and DVI 1.0 compliant
- Advanced EDID Management
- Supports HDMI 4K signal formats (4K UHD @30Hz RGB 4:4:4 or @60Hz YUV 4:2:0, up to 9 Gbps)
- Supports HDMI 3D signal formats (frame packing, side-by-side and top-bottom)
- Supports deep color signals (24/30/36 bit RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4)
- No video compression
- Bi-directional RS-232 extension (pass-through)
- HDCP 1.4 compliant
- Uncompressed video up to 9 Gbps datarate (300 MHz pixel clock)
- Supports all embedded audio formats (including PCM, Dolby Digital and DTS high bitrate audio)
- No signal latency, zero frame delay
