Advanced System Controller
Advanced Control
The Linea Research ASC48 is a powerful 4-in / 8-out system controller featuring advanced 96kHz DSP, flexible analogue, AES3 and optional Dante connectivity, and full network control—ideal for precise loudspeaker management and large-scale professional audio systems.

The Linea Research ASC48 is an advanced system controller engineered for demanding live sound and installation environments, offering a powerful combination of audio processing, routing flexibility, and system control. With four inputs and eight outputs, it acts as the central hub of a professional audio system, delivering precise signal management and optimisation across multiple zones and loudspeaker configurations.
At its core is Linea Research’s proprietary 96kHz DSP engine, designed entirely in-house to provide exceptional audio quality and unique processing capabilities. This includes advanced crossover options such as LIR linear phase filters, alongside the highly regarded VX limiter suite, which offers peak, RMS, excursion, and multiband limiting for comprehensive loudspeaker protection and performance optimisation.
The ASC48 supports a wide range of input and output formats, including analogue and AES3 as standard, with optional Dante/AES67 networking for seamless integration into modern digital audio systems. Its ability to process and route audio entirely within the digital domain ensures maximum signal integrity, making it particularly suited to complex, large-scale installations and touring systems.
Designed with usability in mind, the ASC48 offers both intuitive front panel control and powerful remote operation via Linea Research’s System Engineer software. This allows engineers to manage routing, EQ, delay, and presets across an entire system from a single interface, streamlining setup and ongoing system optimisation.
Built and manufactured in the UK, the ASC48 delivers outstanding reliability and performance, making it an ideal solution for applications including theatres, concert venues, houses of worship, and large distributed audio systems where precision and control are critical.
