The Optimal Audio Cuboid 6TX is a versatile full-range passive loudspeaker with an integrated transformer, designed for use in 70V/100V distributed audio systems. Ideal for commercial environments such as hospitality, retail, and leisure spaces, it delivers clear, detailed sound with flexible installation and reliable performance.
Description
Cuboid 6TX is a full range, two way, passive 6.5” loudspeaker designed to give exceptional sound quality in a very small form factor, for distributed applications with high quality background music and speech reproduction.
With its attractive design and included mounting hardware, Cuboid 6TX can be fixed in either portrait or landscape orientation for simple and flexible installation. A weatherproof terminal cover is available for outdoor use, bringing the rating to IP54.
Cuboid 6TX features a 6.5” low frequency driver and a 1” silk dome high frequency driver mated to a shallow wave guide for consistent HF distribution.
Each Cuboid 6TX has an improved 60w transformer which enables the delivery of premium sound when installed on 70 or 100V taps or at low impedance. Tap selection is via a rotary switch on the rear of the cabinet.
For enhanced bass performance, Cuboid 6TX can be teamed with Sub 10, and a SmartAmp or powered Zone will provide amplification, optimal sound settings as well as limiters to protect the drivers when playing at louder sound levels.
When coupled with Zone and WebApp, system set up and end user control is straight forward, and can be further supplemented by ZonePad wall controllers.
