The Optimal Audio Up 6O is a cost-effective, full-range ceiling speaker designed for clear and balanced music and speech reproduction in commercial environments. Featuring a 6-inch driver and metal dome tweeter, it delivers wide, consistent coverage ideal for medium to large spaces. Its discreet, low-profile design blends seamlessly into ceilings, while the open-back construction allows for simple installation in applications with sufficient cavity depth, making it a practical solution for scalable audio systems.
Description
Up 6O is a discreet 6” ceiling speaker delivering consistent coverage and crisp, clear sound to a wide range of cost conscious, commercial environments from hotels and concourses to retail outlets, bars and restaurants.
Up 6O is supplied without a back can for ceilings with a minimum cavity depth, while an integral fixing system is included to achieve a simple and clean installation. The steel perforated grille is finished in neutral white.
With the addition of the Grille 2 accessory, Up 6O can be easily enhanced with a bezel-less grille appearance and is available in both black and white, helping to blend into any architectural environment.
Up 6O features a 6” (162mm) low frequency driver paired with a 0.7” (20mm) metal dome tweeter. It is suitable for both high quality speech and music reproduction. A conical 110° coverage pattern delivers consistent, high performance sound where it needs to go.
Each Up 6O can be run on a series of 70 or 100 Volt taps or at low impedance. The 16 ohm setting allows up to four units to be connected to each amplifier channel at low impedance. Tap selection is via a rotary switch behind the removable grille.
A SmartAmp or powered Zone will provide amplification, optimal sound performance and loudspeaker protection via onboard presets. When teamed with Zone and WebApp, system set up and end user control is effortless, and can be further supplemented by ZonePad wall controllers.
