The BSS Audio 1U Rack-Mount Kit is a purpose-built solution designed to house up to two half-rack Soundweb London devices—specifically the BLU-BIB and BLU-BOB1—within a single 1U rack space. Ideal for space-conscious AV installations, this kit maximizes I/O density and simplifies the integration of BSS audio expanders into standard 19-inch equipment racks.
With support for multiple configurations, the 1U Rack-Mount Kit can accommodate one or two BLU-BIBs, one or two BLU-BOB1s, or one of each device side by side. Since each device offers eight channels of analog input or output expansion, mounting two units together enables a full 16 channels of I/O in just one rack unit—making it perfect for high-channel-count systems in commercial AV, broadcast, live sound, or fixed installations.
For setups using only a single expander, the kit includes a half-rack blanking plate, ensuring a clean, professional finish and helping to maintain airflow and equipment stability.
